The story worth telling

Signing in is necessary, but it is rarely the moment someone understands the product. Start with the first useful outcome: assigning a task, sending an invoice or finding a relevant answer. Show only the setup needed to reach that point.

Three things to capture

1. A realistic empty or starting state
2. The shortest valid path through the task
3. The completed state with the result visible

Let the camera run a little before and after each action. Those extra seconds give you room to find a better cut.
