The story worth telling
A release note can say “new filters” without showing why anyone should care. Record an example where a broad list becomes a useful shortlist. The important shot is the change in what the user can now see.
Three things to capture
- The task before using the feature
- The new control being used
- The more useful result
Let the camera run a little before and after each action. Those extra seconds give you room to find a better cut.
