Show what the new feature changes

The story worth telling

A release note can say “new filters” without showing why anyone should care. Record an example where a broad list becomes a useful shortlist. The important shot is the change in what the user can now see.

Three things to capture

1. The task before using the feature
2. The new control being used
3. The more useful result

Let the camera run a little before and after each action. Those extra seconds give you room to find a better cut.
