Name the user task and show the required starting state.
Middle
Record the action in sequence and explain only the controls needed to finish it.

Show the confirmation state that proves the task is complete.
Review it for mobile apps
Use readable crops without obscuring the navigation a user must find.
Ask yourself: Can a new user reproduce the task from the recording?
Watch it as if you were seeing it for the first time. If something is unclear, try a different cut or add the missing shot.
